A survey of 90 men between the ages of 18 and 66 was published in the International Journal of Impotence Research. All of the subjects were taken to the hospital with penile fractures. Scientists found that 69 patients were injured during sexual intercourse. Such injuries most often occur during an erection. When the genitals are damaged, the white shell is torn. Men with such injuries need urgent medical attention.

The results of the study of Brazilian scientists showed that 10% of such injuries occurred in the position like “woman on top.” In second place in danger was the missionary pose. The most traumatic was recognized as the knee-elbow position. 41% of the men studied were injured in this position.
